About Blanca
Creating pathways to opportunity for young people.
Blanca Youth Initiative equips young people with practical skills, mentorship and opportunities to build better futures — starting with skills they can actually use.
Purpose
Why Blanca exists
Many young Nigerians have ambition and ability but little access to relevant training, experienced guidance and a first real opportunity.
Blanca exists to close that gap: practical learning, people who have done the work, and a clear route toward employment, enterprise or further education.
Our mission
To equip young people with the skills, guidance and opportunities to build independent, productive lives.
We are committed to creating practical pathways for young people to discover their potential, develop valuable skills and turn their ambitions into meaningful opportunities.
Our approach
How we work
- 01
Practical learning
Training focused on skills participants can use straight away.
- 02
Mentorship
Connecting young people with experienced people who can guide them.
- 03
Real-world practice
Projects and exercises that apply new skills to real problems.
- 04
Pathways forward
Support to move toward work, enterprise or further study.
Potential is everywhere. Opportunity isn’t.

What we believe
Four convictions behind our work
- 01
Opportunity should be accessible.
Where you start should not decide how far you can go.
- 02
Skills create independence.
A well-learned skill gives a young person real choices.
- 03
Young people should have a voice.
Programmes work best when they are shaped with participants, not only for them.
- 04
Learning should lead somewhere.
Training matters when it opens a real door afterward.
